Getting calls from people saying they are returning call

Has anyone else gotten calls from people saying they are returning  a missed call.

I have had 3 people in the last week say this to me and when i check my call history there is no outgoing call logged.

I cant understand how someone else could call someone with my phone number

Seems a regular thing nowadays, I get lots of these and being a business reply,to be told I never rang you. Some scam.

Yes, it's a common problem on all mobile networks. 

Number spoofing is easy for scammers to do.

Just search the form for lots of previous reports.
