Does roaming in the EU actually work?

I have only recently rejoined 48. Years ago roaming in the EU just didnt work despite it advertised in their plan. Has anyone used it abroad recently?

Unfortunately many people still seem to have problems with roaming abroad on 48 for some reason.

(On the other hand all the people who have no problems don't post to report their positive experiences!)
