Do I need to do anything for roaming to work in Germany?

hey guys, im due to go to germany next week, i was in italy a year ago and couldnt get 48 to work there, is there anything i have to do before travelling to make sure its working on data and phone?

It should just work but...

Unfortunately many people still seem to have problems when trying to use roaming services for some reason and nobody from 48 has ever explained why or provided a guaranteed fix.

As such, the usual generic advice for roaming issues applies...

If your SIM predates January 2023 then maybe get a replacement in case it helps with roaming issues:
