Can’t use 4G or 5G when on a voice call

VoLTE / 4G Calling not working on my 48 SIM

Hi,

When I make or receive a call on my 48 SIM, my iPhone drops from 5G to 3G for the duration of the call, and my mobile data slows or stops.

Details:
- Only one SIM in the phone
- VoLTE is switched on (Settings > Mobile Service > Mobile Data Options > Voice & Data)
- I have restarted the phone and toggled VoLTE off and on

Could anyone please confirm:
1. Is VoLTE (4G Calling) supported on 48 for my SIM and iPhone model?
2. Is Wi-Fi Calling supported?
3. If either is supported, can 48 enable it on my line?
4. If neither is supported, is there a plan to introduce it?

As far as I know it's still the case that when you're on a call on 48 mobile data falls back to 3G or worse and is barely usable for most browsing or app connectivity.

Also as far as I know there's still no VoLTE or WiFi calling on 48.

Nobody here on the Community Forum will know what plans there might be to make these features available. 

You'll need to contact 48 support about that but I suspect that they won't be able or allowed to give you timelines.
