You'll probably need to explain in more detail exactly what you did and what happened.
What exactly do you mean by "browser installation failed"?
You mean that you couldn't download/install some browser from your phone's app store or something?
Configuration of the APN settings doesn't involve the (web) browser.
To configure your APN settings correctly see here:
If you're on Android you can text "APN" to 50048 and follow the instructions here to do this:
Once your APN settings are configured correctly and you have an active membership with a mobile data allowance then all connected apps and web browsers should be able to connect.
If only some apps/browsers can connect but others can't then there may be some issue with your phone settings.
E.g. some apps have permission to use mobile data connectivity but others don't.
