Is your phone definitely 5G capable?

Are your APN settings configured correctly?

If you're on Android then you can text "APN" to 50048 and follow the instructions here to configure your settings:

What exactly do you mean by "5G data is bad"?

What sort of speeds compared to 4G?

Do you know anybody else in the area on 48 and using 5G?

If so then is it working ok for them?

If you need to contact 48 support about this then see the links in my signature below.

Thanks for your reply. When I use 5g it drops out constantly, no Internet error then works ok for a bit. 4g is much more stable if at a slower speed. 5g speed varies from a MB to a few hundred MB. APN is ok unless there is a different one for 5g. Other people here use 5g and it seems ok.

There are no special APN settings for 5G.

If you're having problems with 5G and your APN is correct then all I can suggest is contacting 48 support for further assistance and maybe trying a replacement SIM in case your current SIM is somehow faulty (unlikely but worth ruling out).

Thanks again. I will try that
