Vodafone are wrong.

You don't need an account number, just your 48 mobile phone number.

I am not a 48 employee - if you need to contact 48 support you can do so by chat, email (support@48months.zendesk.com) or phone.

I am having the same issue trying to port the number to Three they need either a customer number or account number which 48 dont provide. Has anyone successfully moved away from 48 , I will have to reach out to the CCPC and ComReg of not resolved.

The problem here is with Three.

They should just accept your phone number as your 48 account/customer number.

If necessary complain to CCPC/ComReg about Three's inflexibility in this matter.

A bit sus that the answers blaming other networks has a signature saying they don’t work for 48? I’m trying to port my number but it’s not happening

Not sure what you mean.

It is I who has the note in my signature that I don't work for 48 - because I don't.

Vodafone and 3 were simply wrong in saying that an account number was required when 48 doesn't use one to identify accounts - just phone number and email address.

And lots of people have ported numbers from 48 to other providers with just this info.

What's "sus" about that?

Anyway, your post isn't really clear.

Where are you porting your number from and to?

From 48 to another network or from another network to 48?

If you want assistance from the Community Forum then you need to explain your issue/problem more clearly.

What exactly are you trying to do, what steps are you taking to do it, what happens/guess wrong/doesn't work as expected, any error messages, etc.

If you need to contact 48 support about this then see the links in my signature below.
