You need cash credit on your account to pay for international calls to UK numbers.

Unless it's a Northern Irish landline dialled using the 048 rather than 00 44 prefix in which case it's covered by your normal membership minutes.

This doesn't work we have the same issue, both myself and my husband use 48 and neither of us can ring UK numbers even with credit. There's obviously something wrong on your network given the volume of people reporting.

When you say "credit" here do you mean cash credit or something else?
International calls are not covered by membership/add-on call minutes and must be paid for separately from the cash credit balance on your account.
If you don't have cash credit on your account (in addition to an active membership) then you won't be able to make international calls.

I haven't seen many people reporting problems with calling UK numbers lately?
