i press pay for new membership and it says error

How exactly are you trying to buy membership?

What is the exact error message?

Did it work before or is this the first time that you're trying to buy membership?

How do I use my credit to buy a membership

Select the membership to be purchased here:

 

 

And then progress to the payment page at which point you should be able to select whether to pay for it using cash credit on your account (if you have enough to cover the cost) or using a card.
