Not allowed to purchase membership- “activation in progress”

I just activated my new SIM card. When I went to purchase a new membership, the website says ‘sorry you are not allowed to purchase memberships, since you have a activation in progress’. My sim is already active and I have signal bars. I told an agent and they said the issue will be resolved in 5-7 days?? Joke. Can anyone help me resolve this issue faster ?
