I don't understand what the problem is.
You bought a membership plan for someone else?
So that's just like if they bought one for themselves.
It will start immediately if they don't have an active plan or stack on their account to kick in when their currently active plan eventually expires.
Do you mean that you bought them a membership plan but meant to buy them a cash credit top-up?
Or is there some other issue here?
I'm not sure if/why you're surprised that the money is done after buying a plan.
