Could I get a second phone number for my own security, for example financial purposes, as a current 48 Mobile customer?

Any 48 account/SIM can only have a single phone number which is displayed on your My48 account:

What exactly do you mean by "for security" and how does having two numbers offer it?

If you want a second number then you can get another SIM on a separate 48 account and use it in a dual SIM phone or a separate phone. 

But you will then have to buy two membership plans every month - one for each SIM/account/number.

The two SIMs/accounts/logins/memberships will be completely separate.
