Webtext and Mobile APP

Hello there, A lot of people have been asking about webtext. Is 48 going to provide this? Also I know there is a mobile website for the 48 page; is there ever going to be an app where you can get this on your mobile? Thanks for now. Louise

Hey Louise

 

We don't have any plans to introdice a webtext service at this time.  Nearly all of our memberships have unlimited texts anyway.

 

There is a mobile website for android phones.  Again at this time we have no plans for an android app.

Some people asked for this years ago and nothing happened.

So I wouldn't expect anything to change any time soon.

But ask 48 support for a definitive answer:

With an unlimited text membership (subject to fair usage limits) and an app like Airdroid (or other alternatives, and I presume that iOS, Windows etc. have something similar) webtext is arguably redundant anyway.
