Not receiving calls from a particular number

Very strange problem. My daughter's phone is on 48. When I call her or anyone else calls her number, her phone rings just fine. When my wife calls her, her phone doesn't ring and my wife's phone says her number is busy.
I've checked and can confirm that my wife's number is not blocked on my daughter's phone. Any suggestions of how to get round this?

Well, that was weird. I deleted my wife's contact entry and the number rang as it should do. It was as if the contract was blocked, even though it wasn't among my daughter's blocked numbers list.

I presume you meant "as if the contact was blocked" - not "contract"?

Sounds like a possible bug in your daughter's phone's software.

Is her phone using the latest software update available from the phone manufacturer?
