Roaming not working

I have done everything that is recommended in the video for accessing  the 17gb roaming data on my (android) phone including changing the APN information and still I cannot use something as basic for travelling as google maps. This is totally frustrating when in a foreign country. I have asked  a number of more tech-savvy people than me to try to sort it out and it is still not working. Can anyone help?

What country are you in?

Are calls and texts working? 

What are your APN settings? 

Unfortunately many people still seem to have problems with roaming abroad on 48 for some reason.

If your SIM predates January 2023 then a replacement may mitigate or eliminate roaming problems:

The chat button hasn't worked for me for a long time either so I usually use email instead.

Just want to say a big thank you for that very detailed and helpful reply. I have spent the guts of a few hours trying to resolve this problem and have already tried most of what you have outlined there.

Thank you for the email address. That will be my next port of call.  It shouldn't be this complicated to connect with roaming. Thank you again for your help. I am MOST grateful. 

You didn't clarify what country you're in, if calls/texts are working ok, and what your APN settings are.
