Joined 48 in May but number never ported over

in May I joined your company and said that I wanted to keep my old phone number... but in the second month, everyone started asking me why they couldn't get through to you, and they communicated via whatapp or messenger, I didn't understand what was going on until my friend said that I was calling her from a different number!??? How is it possible to change my phone number without warning or even informing me about it! I want my old phone number back

What number is displayed on your My48 account?

Is it your old number or a different 089 number that came with the 48 SIM?

Did you submit a porting request at the time that you joined 48?

You might need to do that now. 

You might also need to contact your old provider to see if your number is still available to you and hasn't already been reused.
