What exactly isn't working?
No connection to a local network - i.e. signal bars?
If not then what happens if you do a manual search for a local network and try to connect?
Or connection is working but some services not?
Which? Calls, texts, mobile data?
The usual generic advice applies with regard to roaming...
Unfortunately many people still seem to have problems with roaming abroad on 48 for some reason.
If your SIM predates January 2023 then a replacement may mitigate or eliminate roaming problems:
