Important Update: Roaming in Russia
The Russian government has recently introduced new security regulations that affect all mobile operators.
What’s Changing?
- When you first connect to a Russian network, text (SMS) services will be temporarily blocked for 24 hours.
- Voice calls will continue to work as normal.
- SMS will automatically resume after 24 hours on the same network.
What this means for you as a 48 Mobile customer:
- You can continue to make and receive calls without interruption, providing you have an available credit balance on your My48.
- As 48 Mobile does not currently offer mobile data services in Russia, this change only affects your ability to send or receive text messages during the first 24 hours of your stay.
