Good news when you join 48 your voicemail is automatically ‘switched on’

There are 3 options available if you want to customise your voicemail.

  • Option 1 - When your phone is unreachable (out of coverage or it’s switched off).
  • Option 2 - When your phone is busy (you’re on another call, you can’t answer, or you reject the call).
  • Option 3- When you don’t answer your call after a certain number of rings within a certain number of seconds.

The decision’s yours on how you’d like to personalise your voicemail. You can set up all 3 diverts or just one. We’ve outlined all the steps you need below.

Just a heads up: When customising your voicemail it’ll involve inputting some codes into your phone as if you're  making a call. Good news they don’t cost anything to use 😊

When your using the codes below,  you’ll need to put your mobile number in the international format:

  • Use ‘00353’ before your number and drop the ‘0’ of your phone number
  • You’ll also need to add a ‘5’ after the 89/87/86/85/83 prefix.

Example: So, if your mobile number is 089 1234567, it will become 00353 89 5 1234567, which is your voicemail number.
