48 Recruit & Reward – July 2026 – August 2026 Giveaway (each the “Competition”) Terms & Conditions

This competition is organised by Three Ireland Services (Hutchison) Limited trading as “48”.

Eligibility Criteria

This competition is open to 48 customers only, excluding employees of Three Ireland (Hutchison) Limited and Three Ireland Services (Hutchison) Limited or anyone else connected with this Competition.

 

48 reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.


Competition Dates: 14th July – 25th August 2026. You must be aged 16 and over and be a resident of the Republic of Ireland to enter this competition.


1.  The competition commences 14th July 2026.

2.  The competition is not open to Three or 48 employees, agents, contractors, or sub-contractors - or their families.


3.  To be entered into the prize draw you must be a 48 customer and must meet the criteria below:

  1. Successfully refer one or more friends to join 48 as new customers.
  2. The referrals should be completed by the friends purchasing their first 48 plan no later than 25th August 2026.
  3. One confirmed referral equals one entry into the prize draw. E.g if you refer 1 friend, you have one entry, and if you refer 3 friends you have three entries.

Entries not complying with these terms and conditions will be invalid.


4.  The prize draw will take place on 8th September 2026 and the winners will be contacted via email from 48 Mobile. Winners will be selected at random based on entry criteria above. 


5.  Your right to enter this competition is exclusive to you. Any such entitlement is personal to you.


6.   There are four (4) prizes available to be won. There will be one winner per prize. 48 reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter the prize or substitute the prize with cash to the same value for any reason and without notification. Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

 The specific prize awarded to each winner will be determined by 48 in its sole discretion. Winners will not be entitled to choose, exchange, substitute or transfer their prize.

Acceptance of one prize does not entitle a winner to any other prize. If a winner declines, rejects or is unable to accept the prize allocated to them, this will not constitute an offer of an alternative prize.

 

The Prize(s) are as follows:

  1. One refurbished iPhone
  2. One €200 One4All voucher. Terms for the voucher can be found here.
  3. One €200 airline voucher to Ryanair or AerLingus. Terms for the vouchers can be found here (RyanAir) and here (AerLingus), respectively.
  4. 1 year of 48 plans for free. 12 consecutive plans will be applied to the winner’s 48 account. Winner must remain active with 48 Mobile to avail of the free 12 months. The plans applied will be the same as the winner’s active plan at the time of the draw, excluding promotional offers.


7.   The winners will be contacted directly via email and the prize will be sent to the winners selected. In the event that a winner declines the prize awarded to him/her or 48 is unable to contact a winner after reasonable efforts have been made, 48 may award the prize to another entrant, selected at random.


8.  All personal data provided is processed in accordance with the Three Ireland Services (Hutchison) Limited, trading as 48, Privacy Policy which can be reviewed at https://www.48.ie/legal/privacy-policy .


9.  By accepting the prize, the winner grants 48 the right to use and publish his/her name and picture in such media as 48 may choose (including but not limited to the internet and/or Social Media) for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with this competition without additional consideration.

10.     48 reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any valid technical or commercial reason.

11.     By entering this competition, you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. Entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions. Entries which are deemed to be inappropriate or obscene will not be eligible.

12.    48/Three reserves the right to provide substitute Prize(s) of similar value should the specified Prize(s) become unavailable for whatever reason. Cash or credit alternatives may be offered at 48/Three’s sole and exclusive discretion. 48’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.


None of the Prizes are transferable. Additional terms and conditions may apply in respect of any given Prize(s).
