Problems with roaming data & changing APN settings

Hi, I am having difficulty, using data mobile, roaming in Spain. I cannot access the internet or whatsapp unless I use wifi. It means I cannot use google maps to get around.

I tried to set up a new APN for 48 Internet and MMS on my phone, however although I chose the option to save it, it disappeared. Samsung galaxy A53. Surely 48 should have set the APN up on the sim automatically . Any advice on what to try next would be appreciated.

If your SIM predates January 2023 then you may need a replacement:

For mobile data to work you need to ensure that your APN settings are configured correctly.

Text "APN" to 50048 and follow the instructions:

For roaming problems check these two threads:

If the APN settings disappear when trying to save them then that sounds like a phone issue and you'll probably need to contact Samsung support or whoever sold you the phone.

If you still have problems then you'll probably have to contact 48 support for further assistance.
