How long for number to port after joining 48?

Ive joined 48 and I'm wondering how long it takes for my number to be ported? Ive put in the sim and set up my plan but I'm still on the 48sim number.

Processing times:

• Prepay/Bill Pay: within 2–4 hours
• Business/Family Plans: up to 24 hours (Mon – Thursday only)

Did you follow the number porting instructions in that link? 

Did everything go to plan or did you experience any problems? 

Did you receive the porting security code by text message to your old number with your old provider's SIM installed and working and then enter the code into the porting request form?
