It’s the middle of summer, cash has been splashed on holidays and festivals and getting a summer job has been non-existent - money is pretty tight. So we thought we’d start a thread to find out ways to get free stuff and save some cash.

Some of these are a bit Dublin & drinks focused. But we’re opening it up to add anything you can think of to save some cash!

Coors Rocky Mountain Game: You get free pints for playing a game. Nice!
The Pub Hub: This app gives a list of pubs and bars all around Ireland and shows drink offers/promotion
Bulmers deCider App: Scan your bottle of Bulmers & win prizes! Trips to New York? Eh, I think so
Vouchercloud: Great discounts on anything from the usual clothes & restaurants stuff to pubs discounts.
Bradys, Shankill: Okay sorry if you’re not a Dub but Bradys pub in shankill have an app & if you check yourself in through Facebook, you get a free pint of Bulmers. There must be more places across the country?

Wowwww I didn't know of most of them !!
Groupon is awesome too !! They give you discounts and deals for so many pubs, restaurants , hotels , and so many other places ! It's definitely worth a look too !

Unidays is amazing they give you promotion codes so you get a discount whenever you buy clothes online… always using it for boohoo misguided and asos!

youve to be in college to use it though and you have to sign in using your college id.

I sometimes sell loads of crap on ebay. You can make a nice bit of cash. But sometimes it's a bit of a hassel posting it out and all that

I go to car booth sales and sell shiz!. made 50 quid just by selling old stuff that I havent used in years. I also like to eat for free in tesco thanks to their gorgeous deli menu 😉 say nothin 😛

I remember some foodie places used to have special offers for people who checked in on foursquare. For example if you became the mayor of that place you would get 20% off your food bill. Some places even gave you a coffee for free for your first ever check in. Anyone ever tried this?
