Roaming not working

Hi, I’m travelling to Spain shortly. My phone has Data Roaming turned on, and I can see my EU roaming allowance in the My48 app. I’ve had trouble getting roaming to work on previous trips abroad, so could you please confirm that roaming is fully enabled on my account and that there are no restrictions or blocks? Thank you.

On previous trips was anything working?

Connection to a local network - i.e. signal bars?

Incoming/outgoing calls?

Incoming/outgoing texts?

Mobile data?

As ever, the usual general advice applies in relation to 48 roaming...

Unfortunately many people still seem to have problems with roaming abroad on 48 for some reason.

(On the other hand all the people who have no problems don't post to report their positive experiences!)

If your SIM predates January 2023 then a replacement may mitigate or eliminate roaming problems:

If mobile data doesn't work while roaming abroad in countries where it's supported then check that your APN settings are configured correctly:

In some countries an active membership plan and cash credit to pay for mobile data usage are required.
