&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;If your current SIM&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;isn’t active&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;and your&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;unable to receive SMS&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;to the number you want to keep, you’ll need to contact your old provider regarding your account. Your current number and SIM need to be active to move to 48.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Your number may no longer be available to port depending on how long "a long time" is.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Hi my sim which was with eir originally has not been used in a long time and has become deactivated so no text to confirm my number change can I get an email instead as current sim is not activated</description>
