New to 48 but SIM not working in phone so far

Hello,

I need help.

I moved my mom’s old phone yesterday from 3 network to 48.

Her phone will not work now, no calls internet txts etc. three said her phone was unlocked.

paid €25 to start up yesterday to 48

What happens when the 48 SIM is in the phone?

Any error messages?

If you do a manual search for networks can you see and connect to 48?

If not then what happens?

Are you absolutely sure that the phone is unlocked?

If it was originally bought from 3 then it would normally be locked to their network and would need to be unlocked first.

Can you try the SIM in another unlocked phone?
