Switch contract onto a different number

Hi there,
I wish to switch to Vodafone so as to avail of a new phone and bill pay offer.
My wife will be out of contract on the 22/12/2024 so wondering could she take my account renewal with 48 and switch over to her number?

Also, Vodafone are looking for my Mobile Account number for the switch.
Is this the original order number for when I joined 48 I.e. 12838724?

48 don't use account numbers - they just identify accounts using the phone number and email address.

You'll have to ask Vodafone to clarify what they need in these circumstances.

I don't really understand what you're asking about here but you can only port a number to a 48 account if it's currently with another mobile provider.

If your wife is already with 48 then she can't move her number to another 48 account as far as I know.

But you'll probably have to ask 48 support to clarify on that point.
