unlocking phone issues

Hi,

I'm already a 48 customer and my friend gave me her Sony Xperia E but shes meteor. I cant get the network unlocking code for it 😞 if anyone knows it or can help me out, I would appreciate it. Thanks 🙂

Hi,

I just unlocked a sony .

Vodafone were giving me the wrong info and i rang sony in the end.

There number is 1850 545 888.

Your model is different from mine so it needs a different secquence to get to the point where you can enter the nac code.

That's useful info.

I didn't realise that the phone manufacturer could unlock phones that the carrier had provided - other than in the case of iPhones..
