Outgoing calls show correct number but not outgoing texts

I've just joined 48 and my old number was ported over however it shows on a phone call but if I text it shows the number that came with the sim, why doesn't my ported number show for both? Any help welcome thanks

That seems odd.

I've never seen that sort of issue being reported here before.

Is the correct number listed on your My48 account?

If people text to your old/main number do you receive the texts?

What if they text to the 089 number that originally came with the SIM?

Is it an iPhone by any chance? If so, could this me some iMessage quirk?

The number in my 48 account is correct. I just got a friend to text on my original contact and I received it and also on the 089 new sim, I can receive both but only 089 number shows? Weird?
