topic No SIM found in Joining 48?

Hi. When I tried the 48 SIM in my phone after my number had ported, I get the error message "no SIM found". The same problem happens when I put the 48 SIM in two other phones belonging to family members.

Now when I put their SIM cards that had been working fine (eg Vodafone) back into these phones, I get the error "no SIM found".

I used the Chat Support function on 48 but the advice was to order a new SIM. All the phones are unlocked.

This does not solve my issue though. Any advice would be great.

Did the SIM work before you ported your number?
The only thing that I can suggest is to gently clean the SIM contacts in case there is some dirt/grease that is preventing them from making contact with the SIM tray contacts.
Otherwise it sounds like it may be a dud SIM so a replacement is the only option.

Hope this helps.
