Are you still able to buy 48 credit in shops/over the counter or has that been discontinued? If not are you able to buy 3 credit and use that to top up or does it have to be specifically 48 credit? Help is appreciated.

No you can't buy 48 top-up vouchers in shops anymore.
They ceased that practice a long time ago.
You can only top up online.
Three credit is of no use on 48.
