Important Update: Roaming in Russia

The Russian government has recently introduced new security regulations that affect all mobile operators.

What’s Changing?

When you first connect to a Russian network, text (SMS) services will be temporarily blocked for 24 hours.
Voice calls will continue to work as normal.
SMS will automatically resume after 24 hours on the same network.

What this means for you as a 48 Mobile customer:

You can continue to make and receive calls without interruption, providing you have an available credit balance on your My48.
As 48 Mobile does not currently offer mobile data services in Russia, this change only affects your ability to send or receive text messages during the first 24 hours of your stay.
