Hi my phone is sending texts but I am not recieving them ? I have double checked settings had to input manually as even tweaker is not getting the update message through ? I have uninstalled any new apps and deleted all texts from my phone and restarted and still nothing !! Any help please

In case of any confusion, internet/APN settings have nothing to do with text messages.

But if you want to configure them correctly then follow the instructions here:

With a new phone/SIM you always get that "uh, oh" message from 48 saying that the settings could not be sent. This never works in my experience so I'm not sure why it's even attempted as it's just confusing for users.

If you are able to send text messages but not receive them (from any number?) then you probably need to contact 48 support:

I'm assuming that switching off, taking the SIM out, gently cleaning it, reinserting it, switching on, manually searching for networks and manually connecting to 48 doesn't help?

Just curious ... what happens when you try to send an SMS to your own number?

Hi thanks for reply I tried already sending a txt to myself and nothing recieved again I have contacted support but I haven't tried gently cleaning the sim I'll try now thanks for your help
