Hi, I contacted several more FunTech stores much further away and either they have closed down or they do not have the sims. It is very stressful I have to say, bad enough to have my phone stolen and everything that was on it and have to try to start again, but waiting up to 7 business days for a sim in a small country and in this day and age does seem quite excessive. For example I ordered my new phone yesterday after lunch and it was delivered this am. Surely a day or two should really be plenty to have a sim posted out. And there should be some physical locations, new reliable and countrywide ones, for emergency situations such as this.

Hello, my phone was stolen 3 days ago, ordered a new Sim online that night and it hasn't arrived yet. I got a new phone today and desperately need to get back up and running but can't without my new sim and today is Friday. Is there anywhere I can physically get a 48 sim as the online one is taking way too long. I tried 2 of the Funtech shops - Athlone and Limerick but they have none. What other options do I have?

There's no way to get a replacement SIM other than online.

FunTech stores used to do them but seem to have stopped.

SIM orders can take up to 7 business days to arrive in the post.

Unfortunately you'll just have to wait.

If you need to contact 48 support about this then see the links in my signature below.

Be that as it may, at the moment the only way to get a new or replacement 48 SIM is online and by post.

If you need to contact 48 support about this then see the links in my signature below.

For future reference you could always order a replacement SIM in advance without selecting the "block" option and then put it in a safe place to use should you need it at a later date.

That is exactly what I have been thinking and plan on doing as soon as I receive this one, it's not a bad idea at all to have a backup one for safekeeping for emergencies. Thanks for the tip, I will definitely do this.
