I’m travelling to the USA in January with an iPhone 14. I know 48 doesn’t support eSIM technology yet…however, can I use my iPhone 14 with a USA eSIM (like one from Holafly) and still keep the 48 sim active in my phone at the same time?
Many thanks for any help, advice and feedback.

A non US iPhone 14 supports dual SIMs so your 48 physical SIM and a local US eSIM should work at the same time.

https://support.apple.com/en-ie/guide/iphone/iph9c5776d3c/ios#:~:text=You%20can%20set%20up%20Dual,)%2C%20iPhone%2013%2C%20and%20later

To use 48 services while roaming in the USA you'll need an active membership plan and also cash credit on your account to pay for the relevant services.

https://48.ie/charges/roaming

Note that you won't be able to make calls on your 48 SIM/number in the USA.

If you need to contact 48 support about this then see the links in my signature below.
