Get a new sim, activate it, request you number to be ported if applicable, buy membership etc.

As it's taken from your post you wish to move away from 48... You simply need select which Network is of preference, & if you want to keep your current number, request to port to that Network you choose to move to.

As for 48, you needn't do anything, your account will in time, be deactivated.

Sorry - I misread the original post and thought that the original poster wanted to switch back to 48 from another network having been with 48 before.

I stand corrected by 1amcn's post.
