Is everything working apart from that?
If so just ignore it as it's simply cosmetic.
Some phones don't identify "virtual" networks properly and can, for example, confuse Tesco with 48 or other virtual networks operating in the same physical network (in this case Three).

Hope this helps.

Hi,
I'm having same issue, every time I try to roam on 48 I have issues.
It seems to be related to a APN = tescomobile.liffeytelecom.com [Tesco Mobile Internet] becoming default Access Point. It's annoying because I've deleted it loads of times but it keeps coming back.

Today I done a little test and it appears the 48 SIM Menu app is causing this issue.

Firstly, I checked the Access Point Names list. 1 APN was listed 48months.liffeytelecom.com [48 Internet] , that's because I previously manually deleted the other one tescomobile.liffeytelecom.com [Tesco Mobile Internet] ).
So using 48 SIM Menu I click When Abroad, Select Mode - Manual - International - Refreshing SIM Data.....when I check the Access Points I now have x2 APNs
- 48months.liffeytelecom.com [48 Internet]
AND
- tescomobile.liffeytelecom.com [Tesco Mobile Internet]
Why is the 48 SIM Menu creating this additional APN that doesn't work and is not needed?

I think that this is a phone issue rather than a network issue.

The use of the 48 SIM Menu app/tool may just be coincidental.

I tried it on my phone (Xiaomi Poco F1) and didn't get the behaviour that you describe.

Some phones misidentify the network and some create the Tesco APN automatically.

Maybe see if there's a software update for your phone that might help.

Or contact 48 support in case they can offer any assistance.

See the links in my signature below.

But if services are otherwise working ok I'd just ignore it myself.
