I'm currently in Spain and can't make or receive calls, texts or emails. I have membership and credit. iPhone 5, thanks in advance

What membership do you have?

You need Guido for EU roaming to work otherwise nothing will work.

If you have Guido then this issue (due to the stupid way that Apple do things) might be relevant.

Note that you may need to be persistent with this - toggling airplane mode on and off and trying the configuration change quickly may help to catch the local network long enough to allow the setting to be changed.
