Sim Network Unlock PIN

I have been a 48 go conquer customer for the last month & all going well.

I just turned on my phone and entered my usual 4 digit pin no. All fine.

The phone is now asking me for a SIM NETWORK UNLOCK PIN.

It gives me two options 1) to dismiss 2) unlock. I seleted dismiss but have no network.

What is this SIM Network Unlock Pin ?? and is it anywhere on the sim pack ?

What make/model of phone?

Did you do any sort of software update on it?

Some phones that are unlocked can become relocked when the software is updated.

I think that this can happen with some Samsung Galaxy phones for example - e.g. see here:

Hello

This morning I topped up my account with €20.00 credit however I am unable to make calls and send texts.

When I try to make a call it says "my monthly membership has run out, time to buy a new one" !!

Can you please let me know what the problem is.

Topping up is not sufficient. You still need to buy membership. See here for an explanation of the difference between topping up and buying membership.
