Criteria to receive your unlock code through Vodafone

Pre Pay

Vodafone ask you to fill out an online request form for them to unlock your phone. For existing Vodafone customers, they ask you to login to your account at https://www.vodafone.ie/myv/services/login/Login.shtml & complete the request in your account.

For customers who are no longer with Vodafone (but where the phone is still locked to that network) you can find the form at http://onlineforms.vodafone.ie/nac/. It can take 7-14 working days for a response.

If you're on pre pay then Vodafone say you'll need to have registered your phone and topped up by at least €127 in the last 6 months. Check out their rules here.

If you've topped up by less that €127, they may ask you to pay the remaining balance before they'll give you the code.

Best bet is to call them and ask to speak to their customer care team.Call 1747 (15c per call) from your Vodafone phone. Otherwise pop into one of the Vodafone shops and ask them to help.

You can also contact Vodafone on Facebook, Twitter and on their online forum to speed things along.

Bill Pay

If you have a bill pay phone then your account must be paid up to date.

As well as this you have to have been on bill pay for at least 12 months or have spent €200on your bill pay account. check out the rules here.

Best bet is to call Vodafone on 1907 for free from your phone and speak to their customer care team.

48 can't help you on that front. You have a few options - e.g.

Ask Vodafone: http://onlineforms.vodafone.ie/nac/
Get/buy an unlock code from a third party online or in a phone store

What make and model of phone is it?

You need to contact the operator to whose network the phone is locked and ask them to unlock it for you.

Or else get it unlocked "unofficially" online or in a phone shop.

48 cannot unlock phones for you.
