Problems getting on 48 NETWORK IN LIMERICK !!

my phone wont let me make or receive calls and texts since Thursday evening I have tried many times to register manually on the 48 network and keep getting a message saying"this network is unavailable try later"Im wondering is anyone else having problems getting on the network in limerick ??

Hi

So you were able to call/text & receive same before Thursday?

Have you internet running as normal?

Have you toggle flight mode off then on, or powered your handset off then on & tried to use?

Try all the above & post us back.

Any possibility you could try your SIM in another phone just to see if it works there?

If not then it could be a SIM problem needing replacement?

You need a new SIM?

On the other hand it could be something else...

yeah i could revcieve and make calls and texts before thursday

i have tried putting airplan emode on and then off and also tuurnirng my phone on on off buti still cant get on the network

This is odd, im in limerick and it's working fine for me.

My guess is that its your handset.
Have you tried resetting network settings?

Obviously you have Data Roaming enabled...(?)

What is the status on your membership page? Any message's/notification's?

Have you contacted 48 support yet?

I tried putting sim into another phone which is unlocked and it didnt work so i think i might need a replacement sim

yeah, ive data roaming enabled

my current mebership status is "paid for guido" and there are no notifications or messages.

yeah ive contacted 48 support but havent heard anything back yet !

That's a shame...

Well at least we know it's due to a faulty sim as every basal troubleshooting method has been tried.

May i suggest you go ahead at the nearest oppertunity and order a sim & follow these guideline's in the link below?

It's imperative you follow the guide or you will not be able to use the 'new' sim.

48 support will guide you also when they get back to you, but instead of waiting...

Just to ensure you are perfectly clear on the step's involved...

Go to www.48months.ie , don’t login, order a free SIM here order SIM.jpg 2. Your new SIM will arrive in a couple of days. 3. When you get your new SIM – You must Contact the care crew by raising a ticket here . You will need to let them know your new SIM number and your email address. They can swap over your account to the New SIM and will let you know when it’s complete.

Hope this will move thing's along - anything not clear, come back to us - don't hesitate!!!!!
