Addition to the above post...

Just top up your balance to enable you to send international texts or calls outside of your membership terms.

(Check your 48 membership page-see 'balance')

Follow up on your Query - has the reply post clarified the process of loading your balance to use for calls/texts outside your membership allowance?

There is no add-on. As mentioned above such texts are charged from your credit balance so you need cash credit on your account.
