      <description>&lt;P&gt;I doubt that you can use it for any network without the network specific SIM in it. Can you not get the SIM slot/pins repaired? It looks like it is possible judging by this random link (which is for info only and not a recommendation or anything as I know nothing about this UK based outfit):&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A target="_blank" href="http://www.mobiledeviceworkshop.co.uk/blog/2013/09/10/nokia-lumia-820-sim-card-reader-holder-slot-repair-replacement-guide-for-damaged-broken-pins/"&gt;http://www.mobiledeviceworkshop.co.uk/blog/2013/09/10/nokia-lumia-820-sim-card-reader-holder-slot-repair-replacement-guide-for-damaged-broken-pins/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I doubt that it's much use but you may still be able to use it on wifi or bluetooth only even if it cannot detect a SIM...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
