I use an LG E610, the generic internet settings do not match up to what input options I have on my phone, the options I have in the 'add vpn network' option are

Name
Type
PPTP
Server address
PPP encryption (MPPE) (there is a check box as an option for this)
Show advanced options (there is a check box as an option for this)

if you could tell me what to put into the above sections on my handset to access the internet I would be very grateful, thanks.

Have you tried the new internet settings configurator?

Can’t get your internet working?
