Internet on laptop

I just bought Internet mobile earlier it works fine on my phone but when I try to use it on my laptop it doesn't work. I follow the instructions about pairing it with my laptop through Bluetooth then connecting it but once I try to connect the two I get a failure to recognise or failure to connect. I don't understand is it something I'm doing or is it the network?

Hi Paula,
I see you're using an iPhone.
Internet tethering isn't actually something that is allowed by the 48 network.

Do that cancels out bluetooth yeah? can I even use a USB cable to connect to my laptop to get Internet that way. Because other people i know on your network can.
