Moving number

My 48 sim wont seem to work. I'm trying to switch from Vodafone to 48 and this is the 2nd time I've tried the move your number function but when I put the sim in the iphone it says no service in the top left and the seem doesn't seem to be active. Plus I've emailed 48 and have gotten no reply.

Is the phone you're currently using unlocked!?
If so, try the same SIM card in a different phone.
