Not Making/Receiving Calls or Texts

Hi,

Since yesterday afternoon my phone has not been able to make/receive calls or texts. The top of my screen no longer says 48, it says I can make emergency calls only. I've tried my sim in other phones and the same thing keeps happening. I think my sim card could be broken, but I'm not sure. Any information would be very helpful.

Have you tried cleaning the SIM contacts gently and trying it again?

What networks can you see when you do a manual scan?

Can you see/connect to 48?

You replied to a 10 year old thread which seems odd...

What exactly is/isn't working for you?

What happens when you try to use the relevant services?

Any error messages?

Do you have a connection to the 48 network - i.e. signal bars?

If not then what happens if you do a manual search for networks?

Can you see and connect to 48?

If not then what happens? Any error messages?

When was everything working ok last?

Did anything change since then?

E.g. phone software update, settings changes, factory reset/restore, new phone handset, etc.?

What make and model of phone is it?
