Does 48 SIM work in Nokia 2G phones?

Hi,
I'm buying my Dad a phone that has a long battery life and very basic functionality, like the Nokia 105. Will 48s sim card work in this 2G phone?

As far as I know it should work fine assuming it's unlocked for use on any network.
But maybe double check with 48 support that a 2G only phone will work ok on the 48 network just to be sure.

As far as I know a 2G phone should work on 48.

But coverage may not be as good as 3G/4G.

Hiya did you get an answer to this? Bought my son as Nokia 105 but the sim won't work!! Can't really find an answer anywhere. Thanks
