You seem to be using an iPhone?

If so then this may be relevant

And you may have to try it many times before it works.

Blame Apple for the stupid way that they do things unfortunately.

Still not working. When I hit international roaming it just reverts back to previous page I do not get list of any server to connect to

You have to keep trying.

Maybe turn airplane mode on and off and then try quickly to "catch" the local network.

Blame Apple for this issue.

As I've said getting this working when abroad can take persistence.
