You'll need to have our internet settings entered in your phone in order for your mobile data to work, Penelope. If the settings can't be sent by text, then that just means you'll need to enter them in your phone by hand. Can you go into your phone settings and look for the 'Access Point Names' or 'APN' for short? When you find that, just make sure any older settings in there get deleted, and then enter the following one's instead;

Name - 48 Internet
APN - 48months.liffeytelecom.com
Proxy - leave blank
Port - leave blank
Username - leave blank
Password - leave blank
Server - Not set
MMSC - http://mmc1/servlets/mms
MMS proxy - 10.1.11.19
MMS port - 8080
MCC - 272
MNC - 11
Authentication type - PAP
APN type - default,supl,mms

Once that's done, make sure that your WiFi is turned off, and that both your mobile data and data roaming are switched on, and if the settings are properly entered, you should see a data symbol at the top of your screen like 'E' '3G' or 'H'. That should be you good to go then!

Kev from the 48 care crew.
